Frequently asked question

To help you understand the towing process and our range of services Dubbo Heavy Towing & Salvage has compiled some frequently asked questions and answers. If you require more information, or have a special project to discuss, don’t hesitate to contact our team.

The towing capacity of a vehicle is the maximum allowable weight that can be towed. This capacity is set by the vehicle manufacturer and can usually be found in owner’s manuals. Our fleet vehicles have the capacity to haul large trucks, heavy machinery, caravans, trailers and buses.

Our towing operators will gladly unlock your vehicle using specialised equipment. Simply let us know the nature of your lock-out when you call, so we can come to you and get you moving in no time.

Depending on the severity of your accident we will be able to provide repairs from our Dubbo workshop. Our workshop is fully fitted to provide vehicle repairs and servicing.

We can tow your vehicle anywhere you specify, but often recommend towing back to our station and workshop facility. This allows us to keep your vehicle safe while you arrange any insurance inspections.

Sandblasting, sometimes referred to as abrasive blasting, uses pressurised air to shoot tiny pieces of material to smooth, roughen, or shape a surface. Our team utilise a sandblasting cabinet to strip vehicle parts of rust, old paint or hard to reach debris.
